Our services include assistance with household and outdoor tasks such as dishwashing, laundry, sweeping and mopping, bed arrangement, and general home organization. We also support seasonal needs such as snow removal during winter and lawn care and landscaping during warmer months. We especially support individuals living with disabilities, including those with mobility limitations or limb loss, who may be unable to perform essential household or outdoor maintenance on their own. Through compassion and solidarity, SOLEV works to bring comfort, independence, and dignity back into people’s lives.The organization aims to reduce barriers faced by vulnerable populations by providing access to essential resources, community support services, and settlement assistance. This includes supporting newcomers to Canada through settlement programs that help them integrate into Canadian society, understand Canadian culture, and access necessary resources during their transition.
The corporation will also provide humanitarian support through the collection and distribution of donated items such as clothing, winter boots, furniture, and household goods to individuals and families in need. In addition, the organization may raise funds and collaborate with partners to establish or support community-based centers where vulnerable individuals, including persons with disabilities, can access services, resources, and support programs that promote dignity, inclusion, and well-being. Overall, the corporation is committed to strengthening communities by addressing basic needs, supporting immigrant integration, and improving the quality of life for vulnerable populations.

Community Support Services

SEVP Inc. will identify and register vulnerable individuals and families who require support services. Referrals will be accepted from community organizations, settlement agencies, faith groups, social workers, healthcare professionals, and local residents. Priority will be given to: Seniors, Individuals living with disabilities, Newcomers and immigrants, Low-income households, Vulnerable women and families & Individuals experiencing social or financial hardship.
SEVP Inc. will organize trained teams to provide indoor support services, including: General house cleaning, Organizing living spaces, Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing, Bathroom sanitation, Bedroom cleaning & Light household support. These services are necessary because many clients are physically unable or financially unable to maintain healthy living environments. Clean and organized homes contribute to improved health, safety, dignity, and mental well-being.
SEVP Inc. also plans to collaborate with community organizations, local leaders, volunteers, and service providers to identify individuals in need and ensure services are delivered effectively and equitably. Priority will be given to individuals with disabilities, seniors, newcomers facing settlement difficulties, and families experiencing severe financial hardship.SEVP Inc. will carry out a series of community-based activities designed to improve living conditions, health, safety, and social well-being for vulnerable individuals and families in Ottawa.
The project will provide outdoor assistance such as: Lawn mowing, Snow removal, Garden maintenance, Yard cleanup & Light outdoor repairs. These services help maintain safe and accessible outdoor spaces, particularly for seniors and persons with disabilities who may be at risk of injury during winter conditions or while performing physically demanding tasks.

Clients will benefit from cleaner, safer, and healthier living environments through regular indoor and outdoor support services. Improved living conditions will reduce health and safety risks and contribute to greater comfort and stability.
A clean and maintained home environment positively affects both physical and mental health. Vulnerable individuals, particularly seniors and persons with disabilities, will experience reduced stress, improved safety, and enhanced overall well-being.
Many vulnerable individuals experience feelings of shame, isolation, or helplessness due to their inability to maintain their homes. By receiving compassionate support, clients will regain a sense of dignity, confidence, and independence.
The project will increase social interaction and community engagement for isolated individuals, especially seniors, newcomers, and persons living alone. Regular visits from volunteers and support teams will help foster connection and emotional support.
